Clara Humanes Manifesto

I was born in Oropesa del Mar, a small town on the Valencian coast. I’ve always lived by the sea, and it’s something I can’t give up in my life.

Even when I moved to Barcelona to specialize in corsetry and swimwear.

Thanks to that wonderful experience, I realized the dire need to change the rules that society had established about the body and image, mainly of women. How could it be that buying a swimsuit was such a struggle for women outside of size 36? Large chests, non-existent chests, stretch marks…

Anyone with a ‘non-normative’ body experiences genuine fear when ‘summer’ comes. The result is that nobody is happy with their body due to the pressure society puts on women’s bodies.

How far have we come? And how far are we going to go?

I have it clear, up to here and no further. You don’t need to have a normative body to feel attractive.

The most important thing I’ve learned in these years, (besides all the patterns, fabrics, textures, and designs imaginable in the world of swimwear), is to accept oneself and bring out your best version.

Let’s not forget that flaws are those details that make us unique and different.

As a famous saying goes: “The beauty lies in being different.”“and I couldn’t agree more.”

After all these experiences (and a few more that I keep in my heart), I decided to create my own swimwear brand so that no one else would miss out on enjoying the much-awaited moment called ‘summer’.

A brand created by a girl who long ago “threw her complexes overboard,” and without a doubt, this is FOR and BY everyone.

Clara Humanes aims to provide a different perspective on swimwear fashion, making good design accessible to everyone, something that complements the body and highlights its beauty.

Clara Humanes collections are limited and exclusive editions produced on demand (via pre-order), with the option to customize the swimsuits according to each person’s measurements.

Clara Humanes not only designs swimsuits in limited and exclusive editions but also creates pieces full of color, joy, and happiness, which uplift the mood and make you feel different, more like yourself..
